Still แปลว่า ยัง / ยังคง
ใช้ still เพื่อที่จะบอกว่าเหตุการณ์หรือสถานการณ์หนึ่งๆ ยังคงดำเนินต่อไป ยังไม่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงหรือหยุด
ตัวอย่างเช่น
Mom, I’m still hungry. แม่ ผมยังหิวอยู่เลย
She still lives in bangkok. หล่อนยังคงอาศัยอยู่ที่กรุงเทพ
My grandmother might be nearly 80 but she is still strong. คุณยายของฉันอายุใกล้จะ 80 แล้ว แต่เขายังคงแข็งแรง
It’s 10:00 and Max is still in bed. นี่เป็นเวลา 10 โมงแล้ว และแมกซ์ก็ยังคงนอนอยู่บนเตียง

โดยที่ Anymore และ any longer วางอยู่ท้ายประโยคเสมอ ส่วน no longer มักจะวางไว้กลางประโยค
ตัวอย่างเช่น
Mary doesn’t work here anymore/ any longer. She left last month. แมร์รี่ไม่ได้ทำงานที่นี่อีกแล้ว เธอลาออกเดือนที่แล้ว
Mary no longer works here. แมร์รี่ไม่ได้ทำงานที่นี่อีกแล้ว
Jane doesn’t live in Bangkok anymore/ any longer. เจนไม่ได้อาศัยอยู่ที่กรุงเทพอีกแล้ว
