ในการเขียนรายชื่อของสิ่งต่าง ๆ ในภาษาอังกฤษมักจะใช้เครื่องหมาย comma (,) เพื่อแยกรายชื่อหรือรายการแต่ละสิ่งออกมา แต่ 2 สิ่งสุดท้ายจะแยกโดยการใส่เครื่องหมาย comma (,) และตามด้วย “and” หรือ “or” โดยเครื่องหมาย comma (,) ตัวสุดท้ายนี้เป็นที่รู้จักกันดีในชื่อ “Oxford Comma”
