ในภาษาอังกฤษมีคำสันธานที่ใช้กันบ่อยๆอยู่ 7 ตัว ซึ่งมันเรียกรวมกันว่า FANBOYS วันนี้แอดจะมานำเสนอคำสันธานทั้ง 7 นี้ และวิธีใช้ค่ะ
คำสันธานเป็นที่รู้จักกันดีในชื่อว่า FANBOYS
ประกอบไปด้วย For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So
1.FOR – Reason บอกเหตุผลสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้น
Ex. Fans love to watch Anna, for she dances beautifully.
2. AND – Addition / conjunctions การเพิ่มเติมข้อมูลหรือเป็นคำเชื่อมในประโยค
Ex. She is a graceful dancer, and people enjoy watching her.
3.NOR – (Not or) ไม่ใช่ทั้งสองอย่าง ตรงกันข้ามกับคำว่า OR
Ex. She hasn’t taken dance lessons, nor does she need to.
4.BUT – contrast ตรงกันข้าม ขัดแย้งกัน
Ex. Her technique is unconventional, but the effect is striking.
5.OR – option / alternative เป็นตัวเลือกทางใดทางหนึ่ง
Ex. She can fill an audience with joy, or she can bring people to tears.
6.YET – Concession ยินยอม ยอมรับกับสิ่งนั้นๆ มีความหมายเหมือนคำว่า “แต่”
Ex. Other dancers try to imitate her style, yet they have not succeeded.
(นักเต้นคนอื่นๆพยายามลอกเลียนแบบการเต้นของเธอ แต่พวกเขาก็ยังทำไม่สำเร็จ )
7.SO – Result ใช้บอกผลที่เกิดจากเหตุการณ์ก่อนหน้า
Ex.She is talented, so she will attract fans for many years to come.
