1. Can I + Verb (ไม่เป็นทางการ)
Ex: – Can I go out tonight ? คืนนี้ฉันออกไปข้างนอกได้ไหม?
Can he have dinner with us ? ให้เขามาทานมื้อเย็นกับเราได้ไหม?
2. May I + Verb
Ex: – May I have another piece of pie ? ฉันขอพายอีกชั้นได้มั้ยคะ?
May I go out with friends tonight? คืนนี้ฉันขอไปกับเพื่อนได้มั้ยคะ?
3. Could I please + Verb (สุภาพมาก)
Ex: – Could I go with Tom to the movie? ฉันขออนุญาตไปดูหนังกับทอมได้มั้ยคะ?
Could we please go on trip this weekend? พวกเราขออนุญาตไปเที่ยวสุดสัปดาห์ได้มั้ยคะ?
4. Do you think I could (คุณจะว่าอะไรมั้ย ถ้าฉัน…)
Ex: – Do you think I could use your phone? คุณจะว่าอะไรมั้ย ถ้าฉันจะขอใช้โทรศัพท์ของคุณ?
Do you think I could borrow your car? คุณจะว่าอะไรมั้ย ถ้าฉันขอยืมรถของคุณ?
5. Would it be possible for me + infinitive
Ex: – Would it be possible for me to study in this room?
จะเป็นไปได้มั้ยถ้าฉันจะขอเรียนในห้องนี้?
Would it be possible for me to use your computer?
จะเป็นไปได้มั้นถ้าฉันจะขอให้คอมพิวเตอร์ของคุณ?
6. Would you mind if I + Verb in past
Ex: – Would you mind if I took 5 minutes break?
คุณคิดอย่างไงถ้าฉันเบรค 5 นาที?
Would you mind if I stayed a few more minutes?
คุณคิดอย่างไรถ้าฉันขออยู่ต่ออีกไม่กี่นาที?
